Well, thanks for all the replies. Disappointing to hear that it is such a recurring problem and MC hasn't done much about it.

I'll probably try the epoxy patch reinforced with a glass mesh. I'll then use some type of nylon/plastic/rubber insert in each hole to try to spread the force over a bigger area.

Any other experiences in fixing this problem are appreciated.

BAWS just fixed mine they put larger washers in there. I assume that will be stronger.

I used stainless steel fender washers,screws,nuts and a dab of gorilla glue on the screws behind the nuts as a thread locker.

Looks good to me. Jim and Chuck took care of this repair and threw in an oil change. By far the BEST Mastercraft dealer in the southeast but I may be a bit partial.

Having the same issue as everyone else on a 05 x9. Need washers or grommets to fix the issue. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Yea Texas ski ranch just gave me some bigger washers, it has held up very well for two years, I sold the boat, but I see it on occasion and it is still going strong. took me about 10 minutes to replace them.
