I wouldn't spit any time, use the Danali full time. That's too much boat for the Audi. I would think you will be in line for transmition issues if you tow with that rig. IMHO

Yes, I thought the same thing but the Audi actually pulls it better than the Denali. I know it seems odd and the Denali is much larger, but the Audi seems to tow anything perfect. It must be the German engineering?

Actually, the Audi does a fine job suspension wise. If you respect your load, you can tow just about anything within limits. It has a 4400lb tow rating which is pretty good for something based on an a4/a5 platform. I had no temperature issues with the engine, engine oil, or transmission on my trip through the W.Va. mountains.
