Thanks, just got the X this spring and loving it so far. After looking at a lot of boats my SO and I just kept coming back to the 40th X.

MOPAR sells a hitch for the gen1 SRT. It's intended to work with optional "turn down" tail pipes that look like dog crap so I did the install myself and left the stock tailpipes. It's hard to see in the picture but I mounted my own "heat shield" on the hitch that keeps the wires/cables from melting. It works great and the SRT hauls the X no problem.

If that is a newer one I think they changed it for that very reason. To many people were buying the trailblazer SS as it could tow somthing and the srt couldnt.

New to team talk. Here is our 2011 X45. We took delivery at the end of the season, so we are now getting to enjoy it after having it winterized 3 weeks after getting the boat. It is not the flashiest color combo. I thought about ordering a 2012, but they made me a good deal.
