Need help on value for 2000 PS 205V
Spring is in the air and I'm trying to decide to upgrade to a larger boat for the family.
Bought my PS 205V 3 yrs ago from original owner with 64 hours on it. Since then I've managed to double the hours to roughly 130hrs total . Along the way I upgraded the stereo and put a marine grade Clarion head and mounted a transom remote. I also added a 2nd battery and some MC stainless cleats.I consider this boat very clean and I love it - I'm just looking for something a little larger, ideally a X-30 or similar. Let me know what you think a fair price for this boat would be. http://www.mastercraft.com/teamtalk/...pictureid=3955 http://www.mastercraft.com/teamtalk/...pictureid=3958 http://www.mastercraft.com/teamtalk/...pictureid=3957 |

LTR 330 HP Engine; does not have Perfect Pass. No tower as you can see. Sunbrella Bimini is in OK shape; it's a little faded. I've kept the boat on a covered slip on a lift since I've owned it.
Single axle trailer as you can see. Upholstery is original but is in great shape. Only blemish is on where the sundeck meets the forward facing rear cushion and there is a rub mark. Let me know if you have any other questions. |

I bought a 205v last spring that was advertised as a 350hr 2000 model for $20k. It turned out to be a 2001 and hours were 300. Was original owner and very clean w/ tandem axle trailer, factory (made by zeroflex?) tower w/ board racks, 310hp motor, SS prop & stock original. $3k aftermarket stereo w/ tower speakers. No automated ballast, heater, perfect pass, shower, etc but came with ballast bags and manual ballast pump. Had all service records and they threw in a few skis, ropes, knee board.
That model is very popular with wakeboarders so no tower might lower the price somewhat. On the plus side, the 2000 tower wasn't very attractive so that might play into it if someone wants to install something like what was offered in 2001. That all being said, i think you would probably find a buyer in the bay area fairly quickly for $18k as this hull is very desirable, it looks clean, and has low hours. In comparison, i've seen a few fully loaded X-star with all the goodies goes pretty quickly for $21k-$25k during the season. Possibly the price might be lower outside of calif as it seems the market is pretty high here. |

I agree probably 18k, no real options, a faded bimini but the 330 hp motor is a plus, NADA has it at ~15k...

I sold a MINT 2000 205V with the LT-R (140 hours) for $23,500 to the first looker two years ago. The only thing I added was an integrated ballast system for surfing. Open bow V-drives are bringing huge money....don't start too low.

Not trying to bust you chops Lol, but with such little use why do you want to spend the money on another boat when you have a good one already ?
