We spent a week at Gaston mid-July. There was some wind and clouds early in the week, but our usual coves were sheltered and nice all day. Well, nice until these guys came out - F'd up the water for everyone in the cove (besides them). I don't know much about surfing, but if you have a boat that big and heavy, why can't you run in the main body of the lake? I see others doing it but not these tools. http://wakesurfnc.com/
