Recommendations for portable vacuum cleaner

I'm looking for ideas for the best portable vacuum cleaner to suck up dead bugs (I keep my boat on the Mississippi River), dust and dirt that fall into my PS197. Dyson? Black & Decker? Dirt Devil?

Dewalt portable is very nice, and expensive.

But speed costs money, how fast do you want to go?

This is what I use:

Works like a champ on the boat and you can get it for $60 or so on amazon. Has a great motorized head, battery lasts a long time and it also does an excellent job around the house and in the car.
