2003 X2 Hard Tanks

Hi Guys,

Pulled the hard tanks out of my 03 X2 last weekend to upgrade to the 750s. IF, for whatever reason, someone is looking to replace theirs (or add them where they may not have already existed) shoot me a PM - otherwise I'll probably just throw these in my attic. I'll have these up on craigslist as well.

No way they'll fit in a 205 direct drive. They will definitely fit a 205v

I think JRW has the right of it - these are pretty uniquely shaped to hug the inner gun whales (is that the right term??) in the rear of the boat. It is both the left and right rear hard tanks that I am looking to part with. Dimensions are roughly 40"X18"X11", again, with notches to hug that inner wall. My understanding (limited as that may be ) is that all 205V boats from 2001 until (and possibly later) 2005 have identical hull characteristics. So there are a lot of models that these would pair nicely with, but I'm not confident in my ability to identify all of those models.

I can take other dimensions or pictures to increase confidence as necessary.

they'll fit any 205v hull

They hold about 250lb each. I sold mine to a guy locally with a maristar 210 I believe. The local dealer assured him they would fit. Here are some pics of mine when I had them installed

Yeah. I can see that they wouldn't fit a dd from the pics of the boat. I was thinking if they were made to fit on the transom then they might work, but there is not enough room for them the way they are mounted. Thanks for the info. Do the original xstars and x2s come with ski locker or under bow seat ballast tanks? If so, they should fit a 205 dd right?

They come with ski locker sacs. They are custom bags that are 80x10x10. I was quoted $450 for a replacement. You could go with a fly high tube sac for $130, but it holds about 70lbs less.
