hey man I own an 02 xstar same boat your looking at of course. I would be very open to the BU. They are a great boat as well. I like BU interior better and think that VLX is a slightly bigger boat. I would say take you crew or family and go sit and ride in each boat. Also the BU will ride better in rough water. My MC rides for **** in rough water. I do love the wake and the boat. I have the rtp engine and its fine. The MXC is prettier!!!
