| Purchasing a MasterCraft from Out of State |
Actually the boat is currently at the dealership who has the boat on consignment.... The boat will stay there until the checks clear my bank and then I will pick the boat up from this dealership..... I thought of having the dealership conduct the entire transaction -- however -- I was told that the laws in the state of Arkansas (the state where this boat is registered and being sold) require that dealership to collect taxes.... In that case I would get whacked twice as I would also have to pay taxes on the boat when I registered it in Texas..... by broncotw |

Thats pretty much what I was saying, there were a few number of boats if I remember correctly that were 03's but they had the 04-current hull. It was like a half year model deal, like some vehicle's are. Example Ford had a 7.3 liter diesel in 03 but mid year changed to the 6.0. The 6.0 was listed as 04 and up but some of the 03's received it. Might be the same case here. lol I believe you should drop a few extra grand just for him letting you in on this treasure. j/k It shouldn't changed the value, though. by TayMC190 |
