MasterCraft Wins NMMA CSI Award For Third Consecutive Year
July 05, 2007
For the third straight year, MasterCraft Boat Company is the recipient of NMMA CSI Award for the Inboard niche, an honor bestowed by owners ranking MasterCraft the highest in customer satisfaction.
The Marine Industry CSI Awards Program, launched back in 2001, currently recognizes over 100 participating companies actively measuring customer satisfaction to pursue continuous improvement. Award recipients achieved and maintained an independently-measured standard of excellence of 90 percent or higher in customer satisfaction over the past year, based on information provided by more than 50,000 consumers purchasing a new boat and engine during this one year period.
“We are always proud to receive this kind of recognition because at the end of the day, it does come down to our owners,” says John Dorton, President and CEO of MasterCraft. “We pour over survey after survey looking at all their comments and suggestions so we have a better sense of what will make them more satisfied. I am tremendously grateful for the time they take to give us feedback and in return, we promise to continue building boats they know they can be proud to own.”
It is this kind of model dedication to the consumer the NMMA wants to attain through its highly successful CSI program. “The commitment to overall customer satisfaction with their products demonstrated by these award-winning companies is moving our industry ahead as we work to improve the boating experience and grow boating,” says NMMA president Thom Dammrich. “The Marine Industry CSI Program expanded considerably in the last year, which clearly demonstrates more boat and engine manufacturers place a growing importance on the voice of consumers.”
