MasterCraft Athletes Dominate The Podium At The 48th Masters!

Beautiful weather brought out loads of people to the shores of the finals on Sunday at the 48th Masters Water Ski & Wakeboard Tournament at Callaway Gardens – Georgia this past Memorial Day weekend. In addition, countless fans and enthusiasts from over forty-two countries watched the “live” web cast event from the comfort of their homes. And, many were not disappointed as several MasterCraft athletes dominated the podiums.
In the men’s trick competition, MasterCraft athlete Nicholas LeForestier (FRA) ruled the day and set a new course record with 12050 points!
Defending champion Freddy Krueger continued to remain unbeaten by placing first with an astounding 231’ (70.4m) jump.
In the men’s slalom finals, legendary skier Wade Cox placed 2nd with an impressive run at 3@39 (10.75m).
After a remarkable series of phenomenal “high-air” maneuvers, Rusty Malinoski took the 2nd place podium position in the men’s wakeboarding finals.
In the women’s slalom finals, Regina Jaquess was narrowly edged for the title and took home a 2nd place finish by running a 4@35 (12.00m).
