Introducing the MasterCraft X-Star Experience
On Monday 23rd April Griffith University - Gold Coast Campus held a wakeboard school for all their Wakeboard and Waterski members.
As the MasterCraft dealer, here on the Gold Coast, we were delighted to loan the University the X-Star, as none of the students had ever before enjoyed the amazing experience of riding behind a MasterCraft. They could all now use the occasion to experience the full potential of the X-Star, considering that most of the riders from the University had, until now, only ridden behind a Malibu or Nautique.
The day was organized by Jake Lacy (president of the Griffith University Wakeboard Club) and Tamara Shead (University wakeboard Coach) both very keen wakeboarders. Together, they are trying to expand the sport throughout the Gold Coast community.
“The day was great. We had over 20 people riding behind the fantastic X-STAR. The feedback we received about the boat was 100% positive. The wake was amazing and the boat was so comfortable to ride in”.
The set-up of the day was a coaching/ride day; for members of the Griffith University Wakeboard & Waterski club, which has over 80 members, all with a keen interest in water sports.
“Thank you so much to MasterCraft and Wyld About Boats for their continued support”. Tamara said. The day was a huge success for all. Zak from Wyld About Boats said he is looking forward to working again with Jake and Tamara in trying to broaden the Wakeboarding family here on the Gold Coast.
