Aussie Team MasterCraft skiers kick off 2007 season.
March 15, 2007

Aussie team MasterCraft, Sarah and Ryan Green, have kicked off the 2007 season downunder very srongly, showing that they have been working extremely hard during the off-season.

The first elite competition of the year was in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Good weather and great crowds made this event run really well. Aussie Ryan Green finished 5th in Jump and ended up second in an "interesting concept" of a trick flip off! Taking out 2nd place in Overall was a good start to Ryan's season.

Sarah had a consistent weekend ending up second in Slalom.

Last weekend was Moomba and everyone was pumped to be back on the river once again in Melbourne.

Ryan and Sarah had a great weekend, Sarah finishing 2nd behind fellow MasterCraft skier Karen Truelove and Ryan making the Jump and Tricks final ending up 5th. Sarah and Karen were neck and neck all weekend with Sarah posting the highest score on the river but not quite putting it together in the finals.

This weekend Sarah and Ryan are in Albury, NSW for the Australian Open. This is yet another cash prize tournament being put on by the Aussies which shows a positive movement in the future of Waterskiing over this side of the World.

We will let you know how they get on next week.
