Greens dominate Aussie Open
March 19, 2007
MasterCraft skiers Ryan and Sarah Green have had a great weekend at the Australian Open.
The last of the Southern hemisphere stops was in Albury this weekend, three hours North of Melbourne.

Great weather brought out great crowds to the site situated along the highway that runs from Melbourne to Sydney.

Being a smaller town, publicity is easy to obtain - on the TV, radio and newspapers - which helped get the word out to the public.
It was a great atmosphere, with many of the International skiers staying on to compete after Moomba.
Javier Julio, Jason Seels, Sebastien DePasqui, and fellow team MasterCraft skier, Mandy Nightingale were just a few of the big names competing.

Ryan finished 2nd in tricks getting just shy of the 10,000 points with a score of 9980 behind Moomba Masters Champion Javier Julio.
Jump was next and Seb put a score out of 63.8m. Ryan was next and kicked a big 64.3m. He had to sit on the bank and watch the last skier Jason Seels who jumped well but not quite far enough posting a score of 63.1m.

Slalom was next, with Sarah fairly early off the dock and gaining 4 on the 11m line. Corinna Nowlan was the one to watch but fell round 1 at 11m which gave Sarah the title.

So team MasterCraft skiers Sarah and Ryan took out the Mens Jump and Womens Slalom events in the town that builds Malibu boats. "That was a pretty good feeling!" says Ryan Green.

Thank you MasterCraft.
