Wakeboard World Cup — Doha 2007
November 06, 2007
Saturday 3rd November saw the final stop of the invitation only Wakeboard World Cup series.

With the Wakeboard World Championships final held the day before, the elite riders were pumped and ready to go!

The format was two heats each for men and women, the two winners then going head to head for the title and all important, massive prize money.

Being invitation only, the World Cup series offers spectators a fast paced event of extremely high level riding with only the big names eligible.

Having been disqualified on the dock during the World Championships, Philip Soven (USA) was out to impress and did just that, with a massive score taking first place, followed closely in second by team MasterCraft rider Andrew Adkinson (USA) and Chad Sharpe (USA) in third.

In the pro women’s event, Dallas Friday (USA) went huge on every trick, showing that she is back stronger than ever, taking the gold with current US national champion Raimi Merritt taking silver and pro tour champion Shelby Kantar going home with the bronze.
