![]() Face To Face Tour Aims To Give Waterskiing Back To People May 12, 2008 Current US Open Champion Marcus Brown, in a partnership with MasterCraft Boat Company, is stoked to announce the launch of the inaugural Face To Face Tour which will hit the road nationwide this summer. Having already started on May 10th in Dallas, TX, the Face To Face Tour serves up a variety of opportunities for water sports addicts throughout the country. On the docket are custom clinics, free ski days with a pro, charity benefit days, public outreach days, celebrity appearances, autograph sessions, gear demos and “ocean front” property at four pro events.
“We are hoping this tour can force adrenaline back into the system and open some eyes by changing the image of Waterskiing. People need to see the sport, at an extreme level, to realize that its more than just a family activity on weekends,” stated Marcus Brown, organizer of the Face To Face Tour. “When the water is glass, the sun is flaming hot, and you’re ripping high-G turns at 60+ mph, the rush is like nothing else. Everyone should have a chance to experience this.”
The Face To Face Tour will give the public a personal look at professional water skiers and a chance to actually ski and interact with these extreme athletes. The tour will allow people to learn to ski, improve their skills, interact with the pros, demo the sickest gear and check out the latest in extreme films from waterskiing and beyond. The tour includes everything but the kitchen sink: a 40th Anniversary MasterCraft Prostar 197, custom pit area to chill out and recharge, snacks, drinks, apparel, accessories and prize giveaways.
Don’t lose your Face To Face lifeline, log on to FaceToFaceTour.com to track the tour. The site will be updated daily with news, events, stories, pics and videos. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
